Position: President of China Huayang Economic and Trade Group Co., Ltd. and Vice Chairman of China Chamber of International Commerce
Qingtao, Cheng, male, Tujia (an ethnic minority in China), was born in Yongzhou, Hunan Province. He graduated from Department of National Economics, School of Economics of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law and got Master’s degree as a senior economist.
He served as a teacher and secretary of Business Economics in Hubei Enshi Polytechnic College (successor of School of Finance and Economics in Enshi Autonomous Prefecture), the Assistant to GM of Wenhua Business Division of Shenzhen Special Zone Securities Co., Ltd., and Vice GM and GM of Shenzhen Business Division of and GM of Southern Management Department of China Dragon Securities Co., Ltd.;
Currently, he is working as President of China Huayang Economic and Trade Group Co., Ltd. and Vice Chairman of China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC). During the working period, he studied at School of Administration Management of Wuhan University and Zhongnan University of Economics and Law in which he got Master’s degree in Economics.
When working in Shenzhen, he was appointed as a member of Shenzhen Financial Experts Committee. He designed modern management system for many LMEs and helped them in the implementation, led and participated in corporate reforming, restructuring and M&A, IPO, refunding and establishing fund companies (approved by China Securities Regulatory Commission, also referred to as CSRC) for several times and was responsible for clearing and trusteeship of CSRC on brokerage firms with troubles.
Since being elected as Vice Chairman of CCOIC in 2010, he has led delegates to visit Japan, Korea, Europe, Hong Kong and other countries and regions on behalf of CCOIC for many times.
