Following the 8th International Capital Conference, participating companies from China and the EU reflect on the business partnership and opportunities that are growing out of the Belt and Road Initiative.
Featuring insights from Long Yongtu, Former Vice Minister of Commerce, China and Former Secretary General for the Boao Forum for Asia; and Senator Jean-Pierre Raffarin, Former Prime Minister of France, alongside a speaker panels full of leading figures from the realm of commerce and politics, this year’s conference successfully united high-level discussion in combination with the development of practical business opportunities, which has become a hallmark of the ICC. This year’s ICC was especially proud to have played an integral role both the development and official launch of the BRESCO - Belt Road Energy & Steel Company Initiative, of HBIS, a leading SOE and DITH a global commodities trading company.
The ICC awards this year recognised Sino-European partnerships into China, investment along the Belt and Road trade routes and Clean 1Technology were awarded to BASF, China State Grid and Aqiuus respectively.
We sincerely thank our Platinum Sponsor, Allen & Overy; Gold Sponsor, Hemingway Corporate Finance; Silver sponsors HBIS Group and DITH for their support for the 8th International Capital Conference.
We are already excited about taking the Summer International Capital Conference to Europe and Rotterdam on 18-19 June 2018 under the theme of Sino-European corporate and investment partnerships for the Maritime Silk Road. The 9th ICC will once again take place in Beijing on 13 and 14 November 2018 and will be another world class conference, and a conduit for large scale Sino-European Belt and Road Initiative partnerships.
