Nick Johnston
Position: Managing Director, Regional Board Member Asia, Commerzbank
Nick is the Regional Board Member Asia for Commerzbank, and in this capacity has overall responsibility for running the bank in the Asia Pacific region. Previously he was the Head of Corporates & Markets Asia, and was responsible for running the investment banking business of Commerzbank in the region.
Before the merger of Commerzbank and Dresdner Bank in 2008, Nick held the position of Managing Director & Chief Operating Officer Japan and Co-Chief Operating Officer Asia Pacific. Prior to moving to Japan in 2007, Nick had a number of roles with Dresdner Kleinwort in London.
Previously Nick worked in European Treasury at Lehman Brothers where he joined in 1996. He started his career in London with Ernst & Young in 1993.
Nick graduated with BA Honours in Mathematics from Cambridge University.
