Benjamin is a counsel in Allen & Overy's Greater China practice, based in Beijing. Benjamin specialises in advising on corporate and commercial agreements and transactions across a broad range of industries with a particularly strong track record in strategic M&A and joint ventures. Highlights of his experience include advising a broad range of Chinese clients (including major PRC-based telecommunications providers and technology companies) on their outbound ventures. He also advised Hewlett Packard Corporation on their landmark USD2.3bn transaction in China - the creation of a strategic, converged infrastructure JV with Unisplendour Corporation, a subsidiary of Tsinghua University. He speaks, reads and writes Mandarin Chinese.
